Hi Adam,

Hmm, don't remember mentioning a tutorial, but I have couple things I use for helping organize my campaigns. I have an MS Excel Spreadsheet to replicate the Campaign file links screen. I also have an MS Access Database set up to make it easier to create all the text files. Its not perfect but it works with some editing. If you have the link as Matrix I can see what I was talking about and maybe help you out further.

Having some trouble building a campaign (the mechanics of it, not the research and such). I read on the matrix forums that you had a tutorial stowed away somewhere, and was wondering if you might be able to pass it along.

Thanks in advance -

looking forward to this campaign!
I was in the 1-13th Infantry, across the street from the 68th in Baumholder.

Several guys in the 68th went on to game designers with Simulation Publications Inc (SPI)- Sterling Hart (Kursk), who introduced me to wargaming with Avalon-Hill's Africa Korps at an 8th Div CPX; and Steve Patrick ( he did a lot of Strategy and Tactics Magazine games, articles and books. My contribution was an article in Moves magazine that was my C&GS essay.

I plan to create a complete Custom SASL campaign with this theme. What I am doing is creating and playtesting as I go along. Once I am done, I will write up the campaign and release it for use.

No, there were no Italians in Mexico but the Spanish did have agents working to with the opposition trying to overturn the Presidential elections of 1940. I based this campaign on Italy using their connections from the Spanish Civil War to provide additional support to these partisan forces.

Great idea for a CG! Nice AAR of the first Mission.Keep them coming please.

Ever thought of making the Cg into files for fellow SASL players to download? I am very interested in such a thing.

Like the idea of using partisans for Mexicans;did they really have Italian advisors,or is this your own idea for the CG?

Hope to read more about this CG in future. Thanks for posting it.
