I was in the 1-13th Infantry, across the street from the 68th in Baumholder. Several guys in the 68th went on to game designers with Simulation Publications Inc (SPI)- Sterling Hart (Kursk), who introduced me to wargaming with Avalon-Hill's Africa Korps at an 8th Div CPX; and Steve Patrick ( he did a lot of Strategy and Tactics Magazine games, articles and books. My contribution was an article in Moves magazine that was my C&GS essay. looking forward to this campaign!
